NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak may get dumped from Real Housewives of Atlanta

The “Real Housewives” of Atlanta will be back for a third season — well, most of them.

According to a source, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are demanding more money to appear on the show than Bravo cares to dish out — and producers are so fed up with their diva-esque requests, they’re quietly making plans to move on without the two.

“Bravo has been taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women about possibly joining the show,” says the insider. “They’re trying their best to keep the process under wraps, but they’re gearing up to make a major move in the third season.”

The insider dishes that the newest Southern socialite will either join the already-rowdy Atlanta crew as a sixth housewife — or replace NeNe or Kim.

While a final decision hasn’t been made, one Atlanta lady who viewers won’t be seeing on the show is Tameka Foster Raymond, better known as Usher’s ex-wife.

“Tameka isn’t very popular in Atlanta,” says the source, who reveals that the 39-year-old was initially in the running. “The producers asked each one of the women how they would feel if she were cast, and they all said that they’d walk. That’s the one thing they’ve been united about.”

The network does feels strongly about bringing back two of the more well-behaved Housewives: Kandi Burruss and Sheree Whitfield, who share screen time with Leakes, Zolciak and Lisa Wu and seem to be the most popular of the controversial crew. Our source says Bravo will let them stick around for as long as they’d like.

“Kandi was a fan favorite last season. Her audience approval ratings were through the roof,” the insider explains. “And Sheree’s clothing line [She by Sheree] and her catch phrase, ‘Who gonna check me, boo?’ were definite standouts.”

Bravo had no comment, while reps for Leakes and Zolciak didn’t respond to calls by deadline. But fans of the reality show can rest assured that the rocky negotiations won’t interfere with production.

“Things with NeNe and Kim have been intense,” says the source, “but Bravo feels the show is about the franchise as a whole and won’t let one person stop it.”

Barry Bonds career finally over?

Uh, I was under the impression that Barry Bonds was either hiding in seclusion on Alcatraz or 6 feet under somewhere with Jimmy Hoffa.

But apparently not….His agent now declares that his career is over. Wow, thanks for that little tidbit of info. I guess we can all move on with our lives.

Bonds has insisted he won’t retire, leaving open the possibility that he might yet catch on with another team. But that hasn’t happened, and his agent doubts that it ever will, according to the report.

“It’s two years since he played his last game, and if there was any chance he’d be back in a major-league uniform, it would have happened by now,” his agent, Jeff Borris, said Wednesday, according to the report.

Barry, let me save you some time here buddy. No team in their right mind is bringing you on. In fact, no minor league team would even use you as a gimmick to bring in more fans. You know what, let me go one step further…we need a guy for our office softball team in the spring. I’d rather go with Milton, our resident fat slob that can’t breathe normally because he has a doughnut permanently lodged in his esophagus.

I just got through watching the new season of Bad Girls Club. Those girls are an absolute mess!!! WTF was up with Natalie? I don't know what got under my skin more--her saying Rihanna deserved to get hit, or her yelling, "This is L.A., I run this town." Just wondering...Is that why the bouncers didn't know her at AREA, a has-been club? I can't stand her--she's absolutely insane.

My friends make fun of me for liking this show--but honestly, who doesn't like to watch a good trainwreck? This whole show is basically about getting drunk, fighting, and one-upping. It's trashy, but it's funny.

And yes, I actually feel myself getting dumber and dumber when I watch.

David Hasselhoff rushed to hospital after suffering seizure

David Hasselhoff was reportedly rushed to the hospital from his Los Angeles-area home Friday after suffering a seizure, according to RadarOnline.com.

The former “Baywatch” star was taken to Cedars-Sinai medical center after daughter Hayley called 911, a source told the Web site.

“Paramedics were called to the (address omitted) in Encino for medical aid,” Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said. “Paramedics arrived at approximately 11:51 a.m. and later transported the patient a nearby hospital.”

It wasn’t immediately clear if alcohol consumption caused the incident. Hasselhoff has publicly struggled with alcoholism, and had been drinking “both before and after Thanksgiving,” according to RadarOnline.

Hasselhoff was hospitalized in late September due to alcohol poisoning after taping a season of “America’s Got Talent,” on which he is a judge. In November he appeared drunk while serving as a presenter during the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Tiger Woods injured in car accident (update: he’s ok, fought with wife)

In sad news, media outlets out of Florida are reporting that Tiger Woods has been in a very serious car accident. Apparently this happened very early this morning, at 2:25 a.m. Tiger was driving his Cadillac SUV out of his Windermere estate into a fire hydrant, then a neighbor’s tree. He was transported to the Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida under the status “serious condition”. But currently updated reports indicated that Tiger has already been released, and that he was treated for facial lacerations.

The crash is being investigated by Florida officials, but so far the initial reports indicate that alcohol was not a factor. I know, right? That was my first thought: “Drunk a-hole hits fire hydrant, then tree.” However, there are some reports that he might not have been wearing his seat belt, and his air bags did not deploy.

Updates are coming in with regards to the Tiger Woods car crash that occurred earlier Friday morning. Reportedly, Woods, 33, pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor’s property.

The accident occurred at 2:25 AM Friday morning. Authorities at the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) cited the injuries as serious. However, Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn told CNN that the golf superstar was taken to Health Central Hospital, where he was treated for facial lacerations and released.

The FHP has said that the crash is under investigation, and “charges are pending.” It was not clear who could face charges. The accident did not appear to have been alcohol-related, a police statement said.

Tiger Woods was driving his 2009 Cadillac Escalade when the accident occurred. However, the airbags were not deployed in the accident. This means that the car was either traveling less than 33 MPH, or that they were inoperable.

According to his official website, TigerWoods.com, the golfer is in the midst of a two-week break. Woods next scheduled tournament is Dec. 3-6 at the Chevron World Challenge in Thousand Oaks, CA. He has won 93 tournaments, 71 of those on the PGA Tour.

Woods lives in an exclusive subdivision of Isleworth near Orlando, FL with his wife, supermodel Elin Nordegren, and two children. Property records indicate his home is valued at $2.4 million.

Okay, the first thing to come to my mind was “drunk”. The second thing was “horrible fight with his wife over reports of his affair that made him angrily leave his property in the middle of the night and drive into a tree.” Is that terrible? It’s just that the National Enquirer’s affair story is the only news about Tiger the past few weeks, so it just popped into my head. I didn’t mean to be horrible about it. It sucks that he was in an accident, and our thoughts are with him and his family.

Update by Celebitchy: Kaiser is most likely right that the accident was caused by a fight between Woods and his wife. The most important thing is that Woods is home and is fine now. TMZ is reporting that the scratches on his face were inflicted by his wife when she confronted him about the alleged affair. He then took off in the car and she followed him, hitting the back of the Escalade with a golf club. Woods hit a fire hydrant and then a tree while his wife was behind him smashing the car. Earlier reports claimed she broke the back window with a golf club trying to help him “escape.”

Tiger Woods Car Accident

Champion golfer Tiger Woods is resting comfortably this Black Friday after being injured in a car accident in The Sunshine State this morning.

Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed that Woods, 33, crashed his 2009 Cadillac SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree while pulling out of the driveway of his mansion in a gated waterfront community outside Orlando.

Authorities have confirmed that the wreck was not alcohol-related.

Tiger was taken to Health Central Hospital, where he was treated for injuries sustained in the crash and released. According to ESPN, Woods suffered facial lacerations. However, Tiger’s spokesman Glenn Greenspan says the golfer is in “good condition.” The crash remains under investigation by Florida authorities.

The athlete’s office has posted a statement on his website regarding the accident:

“Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident outside his home last night. He was admitted, treated and released today in good condition. We appreciate very much everyone’s thoughts and well wishes”

Michelle Obama Wears Naeem Khan and Desirée Rogers Wears Comme des Garçons to State Dinner

Yesterday, Barack and Michelle Obama received the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur at the White House. Later in the day, Michelle wore a skirt by Indian-American designer Rachel Roy to speak about that evening's State Dinner. For the event, she wore a dress by another Indian-American designer, Naeem Khan. The gown was no last-minute decision. Created in what sounds like a highly secure top secret State operation, Khan orchestrated the design with Ikram Goldman, the First Lady's unofficial stylist in Chicago. He had been asked to create something "Indian, chic, simple, but very glamorous." Khan submitted three or four gowns for the event, and Michelle made quite the extravagant choice. Mrs. O reports:

The strapless gown features hand cut sterling silver sequins sewn on nude silk chiffon, which create an abstract floral pattern. The dress is entirely handmade, requiring three weeks of work by 40 people, completed in Naeem Kahn's family workshop in India.

What she lacked in diamonds (though she wore some in the bracelet stack on her arm), she made up for in subtle handiwork. Evidently this was no time to wear a J.Crew cardigan and waist belt she'd been seen gardening in seventeen times since moving to the White House. This gown was planned way in advance, like prom or something.

Meanwhile, White House social secretary and noted fashionista DesirRogers made a surprising choice of gown for the occasion: a Comme des Garçons piece from the fall 2009 collection (which leaves us to believe she purchased it retail). Disappointingly, she left the mesh face covering from the runway look out of her ensemble. The dress is nice on her, but if she's going to try to draw attention to herself with an avant-garde ballgown, she may as well go all-out and mimic the runway look as precisely as possible. And she most definitely should have worn the flats with the toes drawn on them. Washington wouldn't have gotten it, but her real soul sisters in New York, Paris, and Tokyo would have wept with pride. And it's never too early to start campaigning for prime front-row real estate for the next round of shows in February.

Donny Osmond Performs Great in Clutch to Win Dancing With The Stars

51-year-old father of five, Donny Osmond pulled out another great Argentine tango performed with professional dancing partner Kym Johnson, for his final dance Tuesday night, to beat singer Mya and Kelly Osbourne. Osmond, a performer since childhood who started in show business as a member of The Osmond Brothers singing group in the 1960s and 1970s, was the fan favorite, winning the 9th season of the hit ABC television show and the glitter ball trophy. He beat out the front-runner for much the 10-week competition, Grammy award-winning singer Mya. Mya was a gracious runner-up. “I’m just so happy to have made it to the finals,” she said. Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and Sharon, was the first finalist to be eliminated from the show. I predicted Donny would win more then a month ago because of his fan base, but I was personally cheering for Mya. No sour grapes though, Donny came through in the clutch, giving his fans every reason to vote for him. The two-hour live broadcast from Hollywood featured performances by Whitney Houston and many DWTS alumni.

Rihanna Tries Her Hand At Being A Cruise Ship Singer

It appears R&B superstar Rihanna has turned cruise ship singer – thankfully it’s only been a temporary career move.

The chart-topper brought a distinctively hip air to the launch of the world’s largest luxury liner, the Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas in Florida.

Her choice of ‘life-jacket orange’ skin-tight dress and thigh-high black boots seemed to fit the bill.

The twenty-one year old Umbrella star stepped aboard to perform tracks from her new album Rated R to celebrate the liner’s unveiling.

The ship, which cost over a billion pounds to build, is five times bigger than the Titanic and can accommodate over six thousand passengers.

It has staterooms, a turf-covered golf course, an open-air amphitheatre and two surfing simulators.

For Rihanna, the ship’s launch was a chance to showcase some of the new tunes from her fourth studio offering.

And remind fans that her unique style, as well as her music is as cutting edge as it gets.

That’s definitely the case with her most recent promo shot, which features the singer wearing devil horns, a corset and not a lot else.

In it, she mimics holding a gun with a tattoo of a weapon clearly visible under her arm.

The image has been criticised for sending out the wrong message to her legion of fans all over the world.

Yankees Win World Series 2009 (PHOTOS)

The New York Yankees beat the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 6 of the World Series, winning their 27th championship title.

Excitement was in the air and fans were ecstatic, as they chanted “Who’s your daddy?”

The party atmosphere spilled out onto the street after the game, as fans continued the celebration.
